Commerce policy draft
Shipping & dropship policy
Slag Services plans to sell selected products through reviewed dropship workflows rather than representing a stocked public inventory. This draft requires operational and legal approval.
Draft — review required
How a dropship request is intended to work
- The customer selects or requests a product and provides the information needed for review.
- Slag Services reviews the customer, product, current price, availability, delivery details, and vendor terms.
- An authorized employee approves, adjusts, rejects, or follows up on the request in the CRM.
- Only an approved order may proceed to manual or API-based vendor submission.
Availability and timing
Displayed availability, lead time, freight, and delivery information may originate from a vendor, an API, or a manual record and may change before approval. Estimates are not shipment or delivery guarantees.
The applicable order confirmation should identify the selected vendor workflow, shipping method, destination restrictions, charges, and any special handling once known.
Delivery and inspection
The final policy must define title transfer, risk of loss, damaged or missing shipment procedures, freight claims, international or restricted destinations, and inspection timing. Customers should retain packaging and shipment records if a delivery issue is discovered, subject to the final order terms.
